Pycnogenol, Curcuminoids, Ginkgo Biloba (used to create greater
absorption), Alpha and Beta Carotene, Esterfied Vitamin C (more potent than
regular Vitamin C), Natural Vitamin E and Micro-spheres (potentially allows
400% more of Revenol's ingredients to be absorbed). Before Revenol was
developed, antioxidants from Pycnogenol had been the most powerful antioxidant
sold commercially. Revenol is a biological powerhouse of antioxidants. By
combining soluble maritime pine bark and oil soluble grape seed extract,
Revenol produces superior results, exceeding products that only use one form of
antioxidant to increase its broad spectrum potential of synergy. A sensational
new discovery, natural extract Curcuminoids, has also been added to Revenol to
increase its power. Curcuminoids are natures most powerful antioxidant - around
one hundred and fifty times more powerful than Vitamin E, sixty times more
powerful than Vitamin C and three times more powerful than
Pycnogenol.

Free radicals are molecules with unpaired electrons, they are short
lived, have lots of energy and are very unstable. They look to stabilise
themselves by stealing one of our electrons and becoming paired. This could be
a piece of our DNA (the building blocks of life), Protein or a fat molecule
which forms part of our cell membranes. Free radicals generate wild chain
reactions that rapidly get out of control. The uncontrollable activity of free
radicals is what makes them so dangerous to living organisms, first they
puncture the cells and then tear them apart, which results in
disease.
Not all free radical reactions are bad, in fact controlled free
radical activity regulated by the body performs vital functions, like; killing
bacteria and foreign invaders, they also help fight inflammation. However if
the body is overwhelmed by free radicals they are no longer an allie protecting
you, instead they become a wild predator and do not make a distinction between
healthy and unhealthy cells.
Free radicals are typically toxic oxygen molecules. It's hard for
most people to understand that oxygen, the very molecule that sustains life can
at the same time be a toxic molecule that can be directly responsible for
destroying life. Most of the decay and rust in life are due to oxygen. Think
about the apple slices that quickly turn brown or the fats and oils that go
rancid, the metal rusting on your car or the corrosion of copper pipes. What
about the wrinkles in your skin or the plaque that develops in so many people's
arteries, or the stiffness of people's joints, these are all as a result of
free radical activity generated by toxic oxygen.
Modern scientists have linked free radicals as the culprit
responsible for more than fifty diseases, like; Heart disease, Arthritis,
Asthma, Cataracts, Alzheimers disease and even Cancer. Fortunately the body has
a fail safe mechanism that protect us against free radicals reactions. This is
done by a means of enzymes the body makes called antioxidants. The problem is
that too many free radicals are generated by pollution, cigarette smoke,
pesticides and other chemicals in food and water, ultraviolet light from the
Sun and too much stress. Under these circumstances the body quickly uses up its
reserves of antioxidant nutrients. The ageing process also results in a
decrease in the production of antioxidants. It is estimated that by the age of
forty our antioxidant level is down by 50%; between ages sixty through to
seventy, this rate has dropped to below 10%.

While antioxidants are present in fresh foods many experts agree
that our food no longer provides us with as many nutrients as it once did.
There are also so many pollutants in our environment we need higher levels of
antioxidants than before. It therefore seems very apparent that we need to take
a dietary supplement. Neways has created a powerful antioxidant containing two
remarkable substances; Pycnogenol and Curcuminoids. Russian scientists were so
impressed with the results of double blind tests done on Revenol that they have
submitted case studies to The World Health Organisation saying it is the most
potent antioxidant they have seen. Antioxidants work in two ways they pair up
with the unstable electrons (neutralising them) and repair the free radical
damage that has been done.
